How does that virus spread? I'm using a 2 month old e-mail account, and still i'm being bombarded by that. I get like 4 e-mails a day that has it or had it (the e-mails are scanned & cleaned before i get them)...

Had the same thing with the odin-virus.
Al kind of ppl sending me mails unknowingly with the virus attached under the guise of a patch to protect yourself from it.
It does get annoying, I'll hand ya that.

I just had that damn virus and my protection wouldnt do anything about except tell me that I had it. So I had to manually delete all of its reg files and other files, what a pain in the ass.

Well the (FINNISH  ) antivirus program F-Secure works like wonder

Consider yourself lucky, I get about 100 a day. I use Norton it cleans it up.
To be infected you have to be a n00b and click on the attachment.

Well, my guess is it's like all the other virus e-mail that spread themselves around. If someone opens the message (Which noobs will), then it will constantly keep sending e-mails to people in there address book, without the noob knowing it's even happening! This is a simple way to fill up mail boxes and so render them practically useless!
The other common thing for them to do is instead of sending out loads of e-mails to everyone in there address book, is to have it ping a site constantly once again without the users recognition, and the site will first slow down, and eventually crash due to it being hit so many times with ping requests!!!
