My Explorer has suddenly started running on a constant loop where its constantly restarting....
It says 'windows explorer has stopped working'
then 'windows explorer is restarting'
10 second pause....
'windows explorer has stopped working'
Any ideas or fixes?
I'm on Widnows 7 and this happened once before prompting a reformat.

I can't say I know how to fix this, sorry
but ever since I switched to 7 from vista (legal) my computer has had way more glitches and program issues
but I do love the new taskbar so it's worth it
I would just google your problem, I'm sure others have had to deal with that

google's got no answers.
the OS is legal, I have both the CD in their cases.
The problem seems to have stopped thanks to this wicked lil program i downloaded that analyses the threat of all running processes.
win

There's your problem, you're using Windows Explorer... You should try either Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html) or Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome). BTW I have Windows 7 too, do you like it? I love it!

Process Explorer?
IF it's not, try this instead. IT's not by Microsoft, but it's basicly approved by them. It should work on all NT based Windows's (2000,xp,vista and 7)

Errrm. Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer. Windows Explorer is the entire windows structure with windows, folders and task bar and whatnot Windows 7 is pretty but dead annoying. I've had countless issues with my version, including about 3 system restore's...
