Anyone watching the Superbowl in a few hours time?
I will be, love American Football. None of my mates really like it, but I think its like most american sports, unless you fully understand the game and the rules then you cant enjoy it... Ice Hockey is a great sport, but I bet not many people in England can tell you what the offside rule in the NHL means, so unless you understand the sport you cant enjoy it and alot of american sports are quite complex, especially american football imo.
Anyway, my favourite team are the San Diego Chargers....LaDainian Tomlinson FTW, but they arent in the Superbowl lol.
Ill be supporting the Saints as I really like Drew Brees and I hate Peyton Manning haha

i probably wont' watch the whole thing, but just every now and then check it out for scores, and commercials. not a big NFL fan i prefer college american football. it seems that the fans are more intense than in NFL

Im a stealers fan... But think colts will win - i wont be watchin live but will catch the highlights.
I dont get why people watch superbowl yet dont watch any other game.. Bit like people who dont like watchin footy (soccer) watch the world cup, whats the ****in point?

I also think the Colts will win, Id just rather the Saints win lol.
I know what you mean, I watch it nearly every week late night on channel 5, just because I really like the sport (used to play for my Uni team) but I guess some people sort of watch ONLY the superbowl because they might not be avid fans of the game but I guess it is a tradition for alot of people, especially in America, like, have the family round, order some food and watch the game together or whatever, i dunno

american football.....love it so much. dont care about the superbowl too much this year since im jets & steelers fan so yeahhh... will still watch it and love every moment of it.

I'm a sports junkie! love most sports (even cricket) think saints will win, as a don't rate the colts defence, but should be a good game!

I watched it on BBC1 rather than Sky anyway, so there were no adverts at all.
Damn god game i thought, when you think that after the first quarter the Saints held the to just 7 points, they did very well considering how dangerous that Colts offense looked.
Tracy Porter made a great pick in the last aswell, talk about a big play! Johnathan Vilma was also very good I thought at MLB, and the offenseive lines on both sides gave very good pass protection. A good game and Im glad the Saints did it

Yeah, I was at a pro-Colts party, and when they had the 7 point lead and how aggressive they were... and someone at my party said 'Don't let your guard down, that's when the Saints make their comebacks...' yeah that happened. lol
Very interesting game. Not as much epic plays as last year but still entertaining.
