Well hello there, it's been a while. I lost my net and broke both my computers, then my phone broke. So I went out and got me a new 8gig 3g iPhone for $200, good deal if I say so myself. Sooo I wanted some help, what are some good apps for the iPhone, would like them to be free or cheap lol.
Can you help me out?

AT&T dude said it was like $399 full price, but my mum got pissed cuz our old phones where shit so they gave me a $40 Bluetooth headset and a $20 gell case with the iPhone for $218 with all the activations and shit

The first ones didnt have MMS, donno about the later ones. Personally use MMS a lot of times to send pictures, wouldnt ever buy a phone that didnt have one (at least untill people have email on their phones).
The first one missed a shit load of features, like you could only delete messages one by one (couldnt just empty a folder, or mark messages and then delete the marked), copy/paste was missing, same with MMS, video recording etc.

A: Mine has a built in radio that has everything ive needed so far from a net radio
2. Hey Where Are You (apparently sends your position to someone)
A: Built in my phones GPS, which by the way has free maps
3. Textfree Unlimited
A: basicly an IM client, mine runs virtually every client i use/ have used
4. Bento (database app for people that cant use excel)
A: mine has excel, along with notes app's. Again, built in.
5. TweetDeck (Twitter client)
A: Google found 3 apps that do it for the S60, dont use twitter myself
6. Print and Share
A: Mine has a printer built in, havent tried it, cause dont have a use for it.
7. Flight Tracker (only in US)
A: dont know since dont live in US
8. Read It Later (saves web pages)
A: Dont know how thats any diffrent from bookmarks.
9. iEmoji (adds emoticons to sms messages, only works between iphones)
A: Most Nokia's apart from E-series can convert text emoticons to graphic ones. Dont see the use for it though.
10. Birthday Reminder (scans facebook to see upcoming birthdays and alerts you on them)
A: this was the 10th best app? WTF?
There, my Nokia E75 does everything i need, has full qwerty keyboard, free GPS navigation and a load of other somewhat useful stuff. Plus, it has buttons. I love buttons.

Not sure if the other apps listed here are free but...
ICHC - free, I Can Haz Cheezburger (spelling?). Just an app for all the funny pics out on the interweb.
iGlowStick - free, and straightforward app
Dictionary - free, You know you need this
TM Zero - free, and best darn tower defense game on the app store
Tunemark - gets hhc.com radio as well as the earlier mentioned last.fm, but it allows for background play! thats right, listen to HHC AND text ur friends AT THE SAME TIME!
Mr. Censored - free, an app that has that bleep sound
Howcast - free, how to video app that hell, helped me with a lot of stuff
MixMeister Scratch - free, and just cuz
SkyForce - free, game that plays similar to its 1942 arcade shooter counterpart
TapOut - free, puzzle game. addicting
Words With Friends - free version, mighty addicting Scrabble online game
(Im also aware of a SoundCloud app, but I didn't grab it)

My uncle is hardcore about apple products, he actually invested in a shit load of stock in Apple when shares were only about 15 cents a piece.
His favorite apps as far as I remember are iStream (stream live video to a website), and some really awesome guitar app for like $10 that has every scale, every chord, a metronome, a tuner, etc.
