So It's been about 3 months since my last Swimming Update.
Tonight was my first individual swim since December when I clocked a 59.3 in my 100m Freestyle. Before the race I was relatively calm, and relaxed. The atmosphere was casual and I was rather confident.
It was a shame that before I even started the race I was Disqualified... hahaha :(
I twitched on the block, and it was enough to get the DQ. Despite knowing that I moved, I still had the embition to see what time I was capable of. After diving in, I stormed home in 57:79 (PB) and won the race!
Afterward, having found out it counted for nothing, I was gutted... but that's life... Maybe the miserable excuse for a club I swim for should start practicing more dives...
