Ultrabeat - I wanna touch you ( yes , i still cant post proper links.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr6aKtHJzj8

Obviously not happy hardcore or uk hardcore, but one of my favorite vibes in the dance music scene ever, period.

Nearly all elements of what I look for in a hardcore song exist in this track.

The similiarities don't need to be explained, we all know Clubland played a huuuge role in the hardcore scene.

This was seriously peak levels of bliss for me.

With Clubland USA going to happen for first time ever, i am really excited!

I doubt we will get ultrabeat, but maybe aqua? vengaboys? CASCADA!?!

I know alot of you laugh at these styles, but i would totally lose my shit. hardcore nowadays doesnt come close to how even Orginal clubland sound makes me feel. Such a better time for hands in the air commerical cheese dancefloor bangers.

modern scene imo : Clubland > HTID

Maybe i wont even have to hear dubstep or trap!?!

It was good, I think the Hypasonic (AKA speed it up to make a Squad-E remix) remix was the best.

hate is a strong word, but yeah - not my style at all.

slightly on topic, it's the same melody as this (which I'm not much of a fan of either)

Never a stand out track and not worthy of its own thread on here. Cheesy but not in a good way - quite frankly, awful.

definitely interesting reactions, i mean speed it up, and it is basically uk hardcore. ( not that everyone liked that)

over here, the early clubland sound does VERY well, kandi kids cant get enough.

So none of you go to the clubland parties?

I think the line ups look amazing, and the hardcore stage has more hardcore than HTID parties nowdays.

i would definitely put my money on clubland being the superior hardcore party, anybody have any feedback comparing the 2?

I also don't see this stuff so far away from less cheese commerical hardcore, like say the impact & resist stuff we were talking about. it suprises me it gets such a strong negative reaction.

it was the dubcore/ electrocore/ shitcore sounds that came after when i really started not being able to stand the lack of female vocals, piano, pretty melody.

So used to the Hardcore mix, that i never heard the normal version before, i did like the clubland crossover at the time, would rather listen to those clubland commercial tracks from that era than the crap thats in the pop charts these days.

That being said it was the downfall of Hardcore, because clubland was trying to milk Hardcore for all its worth, trying push for a more commercial sound, i remember around 07 thinking what's happened to the kick drum in hardcore, it was gone.

Yeah original is alright but the speeded up Squad-E remix is much better!

We still have kandi kids here in the States???? I mean, the 80s cartoon-fashion wearing, kandi kids who actually trade kandi back? Where are they?

Didn?t have anything against Ultrabeat, but the track in question was not their best. Pretty green eyes was a decent track and I liked Hixxys hardcore remix from 2005.

That is because it is a rip of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MihPupDskgk
Presumably that's what you meant by similarities though.

Anyway, in contrast to what everyone else has said, i don't mind the track at all, but that is because I'm a fan of the original too.
