Wtf does the Hemstock bit mean? I've been wondering this for almost a decade and haven't been able to come up with one reason that makes sense. It's probably something that will make me facepalm when I hear it, but yeah, what's the Hemstock mean here?
Also is there an original of this tune? I mean, obviously it exists somewhere or else they wouldn't have made a remix, but I've tried looking for it multiple times over the years and haven't been able T O find ever a refferance to it, let alone an original. maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but I feel like that's true of a few Michael Mansion's song.
He's also quite a mystery, and never really heard of him before HU3 mas haven't really seen much of him outside of any HU projects.

I'd always taken it to be a reference to Hemstock, the producer and one part of Hemstock and Jennings, did some rather popular trance remixes which have the same trancey supersaws that Dawins 'Hemstock' remix has....

That's what I'd have said too.

As for Michael Mansion, I think it was discussed here or maybe in some youtube comments that the originals are often considered to be more like demos and that he always has more success from the remixes. Bit odd admittedly but there's even reference to it on his own soundcloud (and you can hear some of the originals there too, that don't seem to have any real official release)
https://soundcloud.com/michaelmansion "After taking a few years off from music (2012-15), Michael is back. Hailing from the USA, Mansion accredits most of his success to the remixes of his tracks by other artists. He hopes to continue this trend!"

Or, maybe it's named after a festival that caters solely for that bit of stitching at the bottom of trouser legs?

Danke sch?n Triq & arpz, and a big gold star to DMS for that second comment <3 :3. I for some reason just never thought to come on here and ask all those years ago, so much thanks.
Arpz' comment about Michael sounds about right, and it would make sense if it was just some random DJ they played a show with one night in NA who showed them his personal unreleased shit.
