I played all the way up to X.
Then I quit, because it just got generic to me.

Ah didn't realise it was out already! Shall be getting my geek on at some point soon then. :)
Not the best RPG these days but I still play them. For those that say they haven't played one in a while the last was great! No random battles, all fights are real time. Made it much better IMO.
I prefer the Tales of series by Namco personally, gotta be my favourite RPG. The Shin Megami Tensei stuff is great too and The Witcher was cool. I am a serious geek though. :P
Fallout 3 too if you want to stick that under the RPG hat!

only one i've ever played was FFX pretty much 1 of the best games i've ever played. i tried playing X-2 but something about the whole girl character concept was a little weird for me lol
i can't believe it's now being released in the US i've been hearing about it for years i thought it was already out! but not getting it as i am trying to discontinue playing with video games and saving up for some gear

FF is an overrated RPG series. Tho it doesn't stop me from actually buying it soon.

wont play it, never liked it. i hate the fact that you take turns hitting eachother. kinda of dull just waiting to get hit

I think they changed that, I watched the IGN review last night graphics look.... flipin' amazing and the combat looks pretty fast paced from what I can tell
I just don't have the time to put into a game like FF, I only play games for maybe an hour a day
I'll stick with my FPS and racing games :)
