life?
everyone seems so unhappy even though here in north america we have everything the rest of the world wants. i look around and see a lot of really unhappy people. i personally think money makes people unhappy, but i realize that we need it to live. i just hate that there are people out there that seem to get whatever they want effortlessly and then there are people like single mothers that have to raise 3 kids on a shit wage and rent for the rest of their lives. i'm not saying i want to live in a communist country, but at the same time i think the uneven distribution of wealth in my country is ... sad.
i think that i'm going to go traveling soon. i think i just need to get out of this country.
anyway, i guess i am asking what makes you happy BESIDES happy hardcore and sex?

What makes me most happy (or sad) is music (almost any kind). It's an extremely emotionally expressive medium and in my opinion trumps human language any day. Being creative also makes me happy... whether it be working on a website, drawing up designs/concepts (on the computer), composing in a DAW, working on 3D models, or building a city in SimCity.
I do of course agree that our current society is a horrible monster unrivaled in size. I believe only a global revolution or disaster can bring it down.

Hmm I think everything has already been sad! Good friends, music (but this is related to each other), being creative, not especially on the computer, but doing shit with friends like going do spray graffitis on trains at night is also fun, but that's again because of my friends :D and finally, my girlfriend :)

happy? screw happy. happiness is a lie. I'm willing to bet everything I own that you dont find the meaning of life in happiness. anyway.
surfing, riding motorbike (hell, even a pushie), i could go on but you could some up everything I say in this

Alex, it's because you live in Kelowna.
I didn't really see it untill I left but that place sucks,
it's full of (mostly) depressed and egotistical fools.
You should see where I am now, it's amazingly beautiful.
felt really good to have such a big change in my life.
don't get stuck in a loop
move down to Vancouver for a bit or something
the world is too big not to explore!
and hey, maybe we could go to Shambala this summer? :)

Living in the country makes me happy. :) Don't think I could hack city living. Spending time with family, mrs and mates, making tunes, playing games, snow/skate boarding, partying, acheiving certain things/goals, usual kind of stuff really.

And just about the single mothers thing, i was raised by a single mum when she was 17 and even i say it was HER fault, dont put yourself in shitty situations if you dont want to deal with the shitty concequeances!
